Microsoft Teams or Google Meet?

Two of the most widely used tools for video meetings and team collaboration, compared fairly and in plain language.

Microsoft Teams and Google Meet both let people hold video calls, share screens and join from a phone or a browser. They come from different ecosystems and were built with different goals, so the better choice depends on how your people already work.

This site is for anyone choosing a tool for a school, club, small business or larger organisation, and for anyone who simply wants to understand the difference. It avoids prices and technical limits, because those change often. Check the vendors' own pages for current details.
